Dear archers, I believe that you guys know about the evaluation of the coaches Ms June will have with us,so it has been decided that we'll go with the meeting this coming Monday 28.01.2008 instead of Thursday. The meeting will be held at the sdar office which is a level above the multi-purpose hall(level 3) facing the main field. We'll be meeting at canteen 2 at 1650 for those who come after that, just go straight to sdar office. It seems that most of us are having a inner conflict on which coach to settle on,since our choice will stay with us for a long period of time.I strongly suggest that everyone should at least spent some time reflecting on which coach to choose rather than following the majority . Having second thoughts after making this choice means bad news.So choose wisely. ps :Archers please help to book the field for next Saturday's training.Which is also our last training till after the exams. Shoot hard, study hard but don't break your parent's hear
Dear archers, For this coming weekdays training, please train harder for your 30m because this Saturday, we will hold a 30m official score taking session . Please give accurate scores. An official score taking session will be held once every month to see how you progress. This will be recorded and everyone of you will be ranked. You are expected to do better with each score taking session. I will explain more about this on this coming Saturday's training.Take this Saturday's session as a platform for future shooting. You guys will be shooting 2 sets of 30m, using 122 target face. Open class archers 80. Our club is now in a situation where everyone are getting metal/carbon bows, and 70% of us are using "stabs" . Silie and I will be going through filtering to see who officially supposed to train with stabs and who to train with standard bows. We have to understand that our club cannot have 70% archers training for open class. Who else is there left to fight in the sta

Dear Archers, I believe you guys had FUN these few days, though it was exhausting as well (phew). That is why I would like to thank all those who have put in the effort to ensure the success of Open house. Our appreciations to Shawn, our in-charge for the event, the girls, and those who helped out in every way, especially with the decoration of the booth and the transportation of our equipments. I hope what we did would have promoted our club and made us more prominent in Ngee Ann. Thank you once again. =) -Jia lin Here are some mottoes for our club, please vote for one. "The X is in sight. Take it down." "The target is clear" "Accuracy surpasses strength" "What's your point?" "ATTITUDE matters!" "The best has yet to come" "5% equipments, 95% ARCHER" "Where champions are trained!" I need to submit the motto tomorrow. Please tag your choice in the tag box. And here are some photos from the NP Open House

Dear archers, Sorry for the very late posting. For tomorrow's training, we'll be meeting 8.30am at our Open House booth . Please come on time and at the right meeting place. Please come in our Green / Blue Jersey with black shorts/track-pants. And sadly, the school don't allow any of us to take part in this NTU competition as they want us to concentrate on our studies. So there will not be anymore trial tomorrow, but all archers are still require to bring down their equipments. I'll will also be collecting the money for our new jerseys and training tee. So please bring $30 for the shirts. This is a sneak preview of our up coming jersey. Our jersey will be in blue colour, with this "NP Archer" printed on the back of our jersey, vertically down from the top right. Thank you and see you tomorrow =) -Silie
Dear Archers, Please take note that Shawn Chua, aka W a n d e r e r , is the in-charge for this coming Open House event. Please give him your cooperation to make this event a successful one. And please be reminded that SAFETY is the most important, make sure that no one pass by from behind the shooting boards, guide the public and make sure that their arrows will not fly out of the safety net and also that no one is suppose to load their arrow when someone is in front. All archers with full stabs are to bring them down for display and are also require to do some demo shoot, the demo shoot is not for you to show off , it is for you to see how you will perform under stress, when so many eyes are staring at you when you are shooting. Other archers will be optional, but it will be nice if you can try the demo shoot too. As for the attire, Thursday and Friday will be any NP Archery shirt. And Saturday, all are to wear the green/blue jersey with black shorts/track pants. Covered shoes for t
