To all Juniors, BAC will be held this Saturday. Date: 1st May 2010 Time: 9am - 2pm (Might end later or earlier depending on the situation) Location: LT 79 LT 77 Price: $30 Attire: Sports wear and sport shoes.(Bring along your towel and water bottle as well) please bring along paper and pen to take down notes too. To all seniors, there is an event on the 22nd May 2010 called the pinnacle. We are helping X-Ventures with their camp as a station. Those who volunteer gets a T-shirt, goodie bag and CCA points as well. I need 18 volunteers. If I don't fill up the names by this saturday, I will pick out people myself. Hi everyone! First of all, I would like to thank all of the Freshies who came to the Archery Funshoot 2010. It was a great pleasure to have you guys. I hope that all of you have learned something valuable and increased your understanding about archery. As you venture deeper into archery, you will begin to discover that archery will be able to change you better as person, both mentally and physically. I thanks all of you again for coming to our funshoot and I look forward to meet you in BAC! Secondly , I would like you all to understand the importance of BAC. Basic Archery Course is just like taking a driving course. You need to pay for theory test, practical lessons and pass the final practical test in order for you to get a driving license and then you will allowed to drive. Just like BAC , you have to learn the theory of archery like how to maintain your equipments and practial stuff like how to shoot in an actual olympic style competition and at the end of the course , we will issue

A warm welcome to those who are new to this blog, hope you all had fun at the CCA Fiesta. We will be having a fun shoot on the 24th April (Saturday). If you have not tried archery before this is a good chance to try it out and who knows you will like it even more. You can come for either one of the sessions. 9am to 12pm or 1pm to 4pm. The fun shoot will cost $4 and refreshments will be provided. Venue will be the field located behind Blk 50. For those who do not know the directions please feel free to contact these numbers. All archers do take note for tomorrow's training please eat your breakfast before coming down to shoot and also bring down some snacks, energy bar etc as tomorrow we will be preparing for our cca fiesta and fun shoots and stuff after our shooting practice... training shall start same time as per normal tomorrow... dont be late... Hi all, The CCA Fiesta will be held at the Convention Centre from 19 - 20 April. Below is the roster that has been drawn up judging from the timetables that have been sent in. It's 1 P of your PEARLS point per day, so please do come down for duty. You don't have to fulfil the entire 4 hours as I have taken note of lessons that you may have that clashes with the timings. Negotiable. People on morning shift are to report at 930am. People on afternoon shift are to report are to report at 130pm. There will be no excuse letters provided, so please come after your lessons if you are unable to meet the reporting time. Those who will have to leave for lessons will be excused. The attire will be the usual blue jersey with jeans and covered shoes. Please bring down all your medals too, thanks :D You can drop it at the booth anytime while we are "open". Hi archers, NP Sports Scholarship Award for AY 2010/11 is now opened to all 2nd and 3rd year student athletes who have contributed significantly to their respective sports. NP athletes who have achieved creditable results and brought honours to Ngee Ann Polytechnic and to Singapore are encouraged to apply for this scholarship award. Applicants should be S'pore Citizen or S'pore PR and will be assessed on : 1) level of performance and achievements in sports 2) Significant contributions to the Polytechnic 's Sports Programme and 3) Academic performance The sports scholarship is valued at $1,500 per acad year. Application is via : https://npalstudent.np.edu.sg Application period for Sports Scholarship 2010 is from 12 April to 30 April 2010. Short-listed applicants will be required to attend a selection interview to be scheduled in May 2010. Students who are repeating modules in Semester 1 of AY 2010/11 will not be eligible to apply. YJ

Dear archers, I realise the severity of the situation. Firstly, I would like to apologise to everyone. As I have not set a good example for everyone by arriving late for multiple training sessions. I apologise for my actions and will make an effort to set things straight. From this day forth, a new policy shall be implemented. Official training will start at 9 a.m. sharp. Which means everyone is to be in the field by 9 a.m. Latecomers will not only pay the fine but, the whole club will also do PT punishment together for the entire morning. So everyone is supposed to be in the field with their bows set up before 9 a.m. Secondly, it has come to my attention that trainings have becoming more and more meaningless for many of you. Therefore I need everyone to set certain goals they would like to achieve in archery, and more importantly what you want to achieve after every training session (E.g. Scores, form, fitness etc…).
