Hey all archers, I wanted to debrief you guys on the NUS indoor competition today but I thought coach would be doing the debriefing but since she didn't really do it and today ended pretty late, I guess I will just post what I wanted to say on the blog. First, I would like to congratulate those who took back something. However, in Ngee Ann Archery Club, we win as one and lose as one. This time, we lost and the most badly one at that. I know a lot of you are feeling frustrated with yourself. And you guys are wondering why didn't I train harder, why didn't I shoot enough, why did I feel nervous? But this is no time to let your tears wash away your frustrations. Keep this frustration and let it motivate you guys to train harder. The competition have ended but the feeling of losing should not have disappeared so quickly. Use it. We have National Open, then Pol-ite after that and maybe the Princess Cup, SP Open, NTU Open. Recurve Male Open and Compound Open take note that your registration starts at 8am, so be there by then. Supporters be there by 9am. Those involved in the afternoon's TKO event are to be there to support the competing archers as well; 9am. Coach says to bring snacks, apparently people were hungry today? Believe you will and can win and you eventually will!! For archers who are bringing supporters , please note that only covered shoes is allowed to enter the sport hall. Date: 26 th (Saturday) to 27 th (Sunday) June 2010 Time: 8:00 am – 8:30 pm on both days Venus: NUS Multi Purpose Sports Hall 2 Details on where and what time to meet will be updated right after training tomorrow. To all archers, For the juniors, it is time for you to get your own basic equipments and your own tool box. For the seniors, you probably don't have the necessary things in your tool box anymore so you will also have to buy the stuff listed below. (Note: For the seniors, just buy according to what you need in the tool box, the list is just a guide.) To all archers, please read through this even if it is long, especially the juniors, it is more important that you read through this. For all archers, 1) I hope to see all of you at the leisure camp. It is a good time to bond with the other juniors and learn more about the club. For those who have not paid for the camp, pay $15.00 to Dolly. We will be giving you a camp T-shirt and this year's shirt is pretty nice. 2) I hope that you guys will pay the coach the money you owe her for the equipments ASAP. Because she have been selling us a lot of things and we haven't paid her. The money that we owe her may very well have accumulated to $5000 or even more. So just try your best to pay her and pay to her directly. To all juniors, The seniors have realised that you guys seem confused about why we do certain things.
