I hope you guys enjoyed the Fun Shoot as much as we did. Without the participation of you guys, it definitely would not have been possible! As the Fun Shoot comes to an end, I would like to bring all of your attention to the upcoming event, Basic Archery Course (BAC).
As stated in the email, in order to become a certified archer, it is compulsory to attend the BAC. You will be taught the fundamentals of archery in both theory and practical. Details are as follows:
Dress Code: Sports Attire (No Jeans and Berms) and covered shoes
Things to bring: Pen and Water bottle
Fee: $40 (Payment is to be made on the day itself, 28th April 2012)
Please do note that this course is being offered to you at a lower price of $40. From what we know, BAC usually costs from $80 and above elsewhere.
Information regarding both days
On the first day, you guys will go through the course itself and learn more about archery, as mentioned earlier, the fundamentals of archery in both theory and practical.
On the second day, there will be a test conducted on both theory and practical aspects of the course. If you fail, there will be a F.O.C re-test which will be conducted during the start of your official training days.
If anyone of you cannot make it for any one of the two days, do come down on the day that you are able to attend and inform us on that day itself, about which session you have missed (Sat or Sun). We will rearrange the session that you have missed for you.
For people who cannot make it for BAC but still want to join archery, do inform us by sending us an email to cca_archery@connect.np.edu.sg or message Lek Kiang (97776459), Amirah (92990642), or any of your in-charge who contacted you. You must include your full name, student number and handphone number in the email or message. We will arrange a makeup session for you once our official training days have started.
If you guys have any doubts, feel free to contact us through the above-mentioned way.
Lastly, anyone who is interested to join (be it year 1, 2 or 3) but did not sign up during the CCA Fiesta, it is still possible. Do remind them to read this post, and attend the BAC!
