Online Training Updates

Hey Archers,
We will be resuming official training today.

Although we are allowed to have official trainings, we are still required to keep trainings online until it is safe to conduct face-to-face trainings.

This post will include training details and our club rules/expectations for online official trainings.

Online Training Details

Training Sessions: Mondays, Wednesdays
Time: 8:00pm - 9:30pm
Platform: Zoom (MS Teams as backup)

Theory/Bonding Session: Saturdays
Time: 8:00pm - 9:30pm
Platform: MS Teams

What to have for training:
  • Water Bottle
  • TheraBand/Stretch Band (if have)
  • Bow Equipment (if have)
Things to note: (REQUIRED BY SCHOOL)
  • MUST TURN ON CAMERAS, this is for safety and we are required to kick you out of the call if you do not turn on your cameras.
  • Our Club Advisor (Ms Rachel) will join training sessions randomly to check on everyone.
  • Ensure that there is appropriate training space available beforehand
  • Be in appropriate attire for training
  • Be Punctual for trainings, burpees given for being late.
*For juniors, since turning on camera is a must for everyone in every training now, we will not be awarding camera points for Mon and Wed. We will still award camera points for Sat.

Official Training Attendance (IMPORTANT)

Attendance of Archers will be taken for every official training session

The captains will send a 'training message' before the date of training.
This 'training message' is a chain message to indicate if you are attending the upcoming training. 

If you are unable to make it for training or will be late, pm one of the Captains in advance with a valid reason.

Demerit Point System
Works together with attendance to help coach and committee decide if you should be sent for competitions.
  • More points = higher chance of not being sent for competitions
  • Points given to archers for misconduct.
  • Points given to archers who don't come for training without giving valid reason in advance

Hi Archers!   NTU IAC 2018 is just a few days away and I hope everyone has been training hard! This year's competition will be held from the 10th to the 11th of March at Nanyang Technological University. Reporting time at competition venue will be at 7.15AM (DO NOT BE LATE) . Do take note that MRT services would start late on both days and that one way transport will be provided from Ngee Ann Polytechnic to Nanyang Technological University. Indemnity Form for Training Camp & NUS Indoor

Hi Archers, 1) Training Camp will be held from 19 June to 21 June. Please print and submit the indemnity form to me BY 10 JUNE (TUESDAY) LATEST . I will be at Block 51, LT 51H from 11am to 4pm. After that, I will be at Ourspace from 430pm to 8pm to collect the forms. If you are unsure of what to fill in for certain parts, just leave it blank. The most important thing to fill in is your particulars, parent's particulars and your signature.   2) NUS Indoor All seniors are to report to NUS at 730am . There will not be any transport provided. Please have your breakfast before reporting or buy something to eat there. Recurve Women Open and Recurve Men Intermediate will start Controllled Practice at 815am.
