Training Updates

Hey Archers,

We will most likely have official F2F training next Monday (7 December).
(Not confirmed, SDO says standby for F2F)

This post will include the details on how we will conduct training from 7 December onwards.


Training Timings and Location

Mondays, Wednesdays: 6:00pm - 8:00pm    (5:50pm ready)
Saturdays: 9:00am - 10:30am    (8:50am ready)
  • Trainings on Mon & Wed conducted at TAA Range (for those going F2F) and on Zoom (for the rest)
  • Our CCA Advisor will be at range to oversee our training, so please behave and abide by the Safe Distancing Measures.
  • Range fees are not covered by School, so we have to pay for ourselves...
  • F2F Training at range on Mondays are for Juniors Only
  • F2F Training at range on Wednesdays are for Seniors Only
  • Currently, we can only have 5 NP archers down at range for F2F
  • Trainings on Saturdays are on Zoom and same as usual


Training at Range (F2F Training)

What to bring:

  • Water Bottle
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Towel
  • TheraBand/Stretch Band
  • Archery Equipment

What to do upon reaching range:

  • Make sure that you have made booking on TAA Website
  • Make sure you have TraceTogether App on your phone

  • Complete Temperature/Health Online Monitoring System (TOMS) 
  • Show Coach that you have completed TOMS declaration

  • Scan SafeEntry QR for TAA and Check In
  • Sign in for TAA Range Book
  • Place Personal Belongings in Indicated Zone (Refer to floorplan)
  • Set up Bow and get ready for training

Safe Management Measures (IMPORTANT):

  • Maintain 1m distancing when sitting down/resting at all times.
  • Maintain 2m distancing when shooting.
  • When training starts, do not move out of the zone without valid reason.
  • Student belongings to be placed in their designated areas.
  • Archers are only allowed to retrieve their own arrows.
  • Face mask is to be worn as a default. 
  • Face masks can be taken off during exercise. 
  • During non-strenuous activity (eg. breaks, retrieving of arrows), Archers have to put on face mask.
  • Group of archers are to maintain at least 3 m apart from other groups (external users).
  • Sanitization breaks at 30 minutes intervals and 15 minutes before training starts: 5:45pm, 6:00pm, 6:30pm, 7:00pm, 7:30pm, 8:00pm.
  • Disinfectant will be provided by school, but you still need to bring your own hand sanitizer.
  • After dismissal, do not mix with people outside your group. 
  • After dismissal, do not wait for each other or loiter, leave training venue immediately.
It will take some time for everyone to get used to these measures at the range, try your best to follow them and also remind each other to follow as well.
