News will travel... So I've heard... Training without the field being booked by " Archery Club ". Note: It has to be booked by "Archery Club" and not via your own student IDs. You guys have gotten your 1st warning. You know the drill; in this case, five strikes and you're out. You may think it's a trivial matter, but 5 warnings to last 24 months isn't a lot. Especially if we keep getting caught for this reason. I would really love to see the club still alive 23 months from now. I see your efforts in wanting to step up your training to show results at the upcoming POL-ITE. I understand your enthusiasm in wanting to bring glory to the club for the forth time in a row. It's nice to know that you're fostering closer ties with one another as you get to know your friends better over trainings and want to hang out more at the field . Or at least, I sincerely hope that's your mindset. As such, I deeply empathise with you when I say that there s
Dear Archers, Hope you had a good time bonding at the recent camp and getting yourself ready for the upcoming POL-ITE Competition. There are a few matters which I would like to address to your club in this memo. 1. Roles and Responsibilities Tan Jin Teck, current President of Ngee Ann Archery Club is stepping down from his position due to personal reasons. He has met me and I have accepted his resignation. Soh Yi Jing will officially take over the responsibilities of a President. She will be shouldering both role as P and VP of the club. While Yi Jing is away on attachment, Dolly will be your point of assistance in school till the new committee takes over. I would like to remind all of you that when a role and responsibilities are given to you, regardless how demanding it is, you should see through them from the start till the end. If you meet with any difficulties along the way, you are free to speak to your President or Vice-President, or me. When you are accorded with roles and resp

So a new set of rules set by SDAR for us to follow. There's a list of things, but the major ones have been highlighted below: "No slippers during games/training/casual play No vulgarities Proper storage of club resources" Any breach of the above will result in the following actions: "1st time - verbal warning 2nd time - official letter of warning 3rd time - revoke use of NP facilities + funding for 2 weeks 4th time - revoke use of NP facilities + funding for 1 month 5th time - closure of club" The five times will last for 24 months, so I'm hoping that you wouldn't even have to get a "verbal warning". I think the main issue that we face is vulgarities. So the fine system shall be stepped up a notch or two. Different words, different pricing. Your treasurers are on the hunt for easy money. So you better watch your mouth, or wash it. Yi Jing
