Basically, the article is talking about Bob Parsons 10 Rules for success in Business, Life in General and of course, shooting!  So.. Let's get started. 1. Get and stay out of your comfort zone. "Believe that not much happens of any significance when we're in our comfort zone. I hear people say, 'But I'm concerned about security.' My response to that is simple: 'Security is for cadavers.' " 2. Never give up. "Almost nothing works the first time it's attempted. Just because what you're doing does not seem to be working, doesn't mean it won't work. It just means that it might not work the way you're doing it. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it, and you wouldn't have an oppor

The longest post ever but please read it!

Hello archers, Your mental control your performance, skills, and focus when shooting so it is a very important factors to all athletes and archers. Here are some tips I have for you to help you train and improve your mental thus shooting and trust me, they work. 1) ''To achieve in sports you first have to have a dream, and then you must act on that dream. The best athletes are those who truly enjoy what they are doing and display a tremendous amount of work ethic. They continue to persevere in spite of setbacks and never lose sight of their ultimate goals. " [Dianne Holum, Olympic gold medalist in Speed Skating.] 2) "Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and, most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do." [Edison Arantes do Nascimento, Greatest footballer of all time.] 3) "It is not necessarily the amount of time you spend at practice that counts; it is what you put in practice! " [
Hi ArcherS! Thank You for the memorable event today :) The curry was spicy. *random* However, it does not change the fact that POLITE is still looming near. Do set goals for yourselves every single training. Goals that will ultimately allow you to achieve your aim for a medal in POLITE. Do take note that, Coach can only send a fixed number of archers for each category. So Juniors , if you want to go for POLITE, you have to train hard. Like REALLY Hard . Take the opportunity during these holidays to come down and train. Sacrifices have to be made if you want to achieve something. All of your seniors have done so. I hope to see all of you achieve the standard Ngee Ann Archery has produced thus far :) i will update the available training days soon. Regards, Zulhilmi Ariff

Your only chance of winning a colours award!  [UPDATE] Committee meeting have been rescheduled to start of training after warm up . We have tons of stuff to settle. We have been the POL-ITE Champion for 4 consecutive years ever since POL-ITE started. Will we uphold this name for the 5th year? It all depends on YOU. 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011?? "If you believe you can, you can." There will be training almost everyday during the 2 weeks of holiday. Is up to you to sacrifice your time and put in more effort to train. Even if it's just 1 or 2 hours a day, your effort will eventually pay off. Every medal and ranking will contribute to the overall champion cup so everyone must do their part. "The man who can drive himself further once the effort gets painful
