Hi Juniors, Well done to those who shot 280 and above and sucked money out of my already MONEYLESS pocket. But don't think that this score will help you win competitions. Continue working harder. Your next aim would be 330 for 30M, 80cm target face. You may think the chances are small but if the chances are small, it only means the chances aren't zero. By the way, to the juniors who won the armguard, it won't be beiter. Coach ordered easton armguard which are the same price, so you will be getting those. HA, you can't choose the colour, just take what is given to you cause it is free stuff. You can ask coach what colour she has though. Oh, anyway if there are any juniors who want to shoot on non-training days, you can ask on the tag board which senior is shooting so that you can go as well. Aven

Hello Archers, This post will be rather detailed in addressing certain issues in the club. Firstly, I will be stating the actions which are applicable to the $1 or $2 fines. This is rather overdued and I admit that it is my error and negligence for delaying this post. $1 Category: -Absence of: -Waterbottle -Towel - Proper Training Attire. -Irresponsible behavior towards the CLUB 's equipment, SAFETY - Late Coming - Dishonesty -Spouting that Vulgarity on the Archery FIELD . (No nonsensical arguments allowed) Reasons for late coming will be considered. Excuses such as you woke up late, miss the bus, stay too far (that includes me), emo, sian lazy will not be accepted. (The more you deny/delay payment, I'll just refer to Coach.) $2 Category: -Absence of File -Absence of Reflection Sheet All fines are to be paid latest by the next training. If by some rare chance I dont remember or didnt note down your names, you are lucky then. _________________________________________ With regar

HI EVERYONE! This might be a delight to some, if not most, of you :D Who wants tickets to the YOG Archery event? YOG is already a first for Olympic history and an even bigger first for it to be held in Singapore. Hence, it is a once in a lifetime opportunity that shouldn't be missed. SDAR will be purchasing tickets in lieu of the "Ngee Ann Supports YOG 2010", hahah. Each ticket is worth $30. Too good to be true? Duh. One archer. One ticket. One date. The entire club can only pick one date. So do you see the poll on the right...? Yeah, vote. Then the date with the most votes wins, LOL. You all have until Saturday, 2359h to cast your votes. Details are as follows: I highly encourage everyone to go. I wouldn't say compulsory, just highly encouraged . I think in general it'll be a good experience for everyone because it's not everyday you'll get to see an international competition on local grounds with awesome atheletes from around the world. Enough with the
Hi archers, All those who took the time to come down on Sunday to pack the cage and cupboards, we feel your pain. Hahahah. Thanks for the effort, guys :) So we shall change things up a little bit. Seniors who already have things in the cupboard... You can only leave your riser, limbs, arrow tube and quiver in school. That means, bring your tool boxes and sight pouches home. It takes up space and it'll probably cui the already cui-ed cupboard even more as the weight adds up. Also, you will notice that your limbs are tied together. How you find it, is how you'll put it back. In this way, you'll be able to find your limbs easier and you don't have to ransack the entire cupboard to find the other limb. ANYONE WHO DARES MESS IT UP... You'll answer to me. And anyone who tries to sneak in unneccessary items into the cupboard/cage... I'm watching you. Have a nice day :) YJ
HEY EVERYONE! Reminder , we will be having out Intra Club Competition 2010 this saturday. Please note that those who rank the last 3 for each categories will have to repack the CAGE AND CUPBOARD after the competition this saturday as you all can see , even rats also won't want to live in there. So , Good luck people and train hard =) Thank You Keith Your friendly neighborhood Vice Captain. =P
Dear Archers, The time has come to pay our semester fees. What is it you ask? The semester fees are essential funds that NP Archery requires to upkeep its equipments such as the target boards, wooden bows, platinum arrows, miscellaneous tools (screwdriver, jig) and lots more. You might have noticed that our boards are always on the brink of falling apart . So these fees are VERY important to buy or maintain those boards to facilitate in our training. Those of you who are currently borrowing the club's equipment, the price of the semester fees is a small sum compared to the actual price of the whole set of equipment you are using now. For those of you who are using their own equipments, the fees would GREATLY assist you in your training as mentioned above. Due to the High Importance of the semester fees, I WILL be chasing those who do not pay. This is not like the usual $1 fines. However, I do understand if some of you have financial difficulties. If so, please do tell/contac
Hi guys, The following are the club activities for the month of July. All are compulsory. Any absenteeism must be justified with a valid reason. 10 July: Technical lesson (nocking point, bow tuning, arrow tuning, etc) @ LT51A in the morning, shooting in the afternoon 17 & 18 July: Intra club shoot Coach will be assigning you the categories (D70, 50/30 or D30) It will be as per competition format to give you greater exposure/experience. Juniors, Coach will be checking your equipment whereas seniors, you are expected to do it yourself. First arrow at short distance must be shot out at 830am. This means that warm up would start before that and your bows must be set up by then. Saturday would be ranking rounds, followed by IKO in the afternoon. Sunday would be IKO final followed by TKO if time permits. Day 2 is expected to end by lunch. Sets system applies for KO matches. 31 July & 1 August: Intra club shoot, same format. Yi Jing
