For archers who has done well and won medals, congrats(: keep it up and train hard for upcoming competitions. Archers who did not do so well this time round, don't feel disappointed, you guys still have time to train, so make full use of your time and plan your schedule well. Always remember, studies always comes first, followed by archery. Overall, i think that everyone has done pretty well this time(: Good job archers(: Also, do take not that there won't be trainings next week due to CNY. Training will resume on 8/2/11 which is a Tuesday. Enjoy your holiday, rest well(: I'll see you guys after the break Wei Siong
Hey Archers, Firstly, I would like to congratulate the Open and Novice Archers for their awesome performance today. Great shoot guys! :) Next, tomorrow will be a big day for both the Standard and Novice archers. All of you have trained hard for this competition and I know it. So do your best and have fun shooting tomorrow. Your trainings will surely pay off :) Please be reminded that to be properly attired during the competition. If you have agreed upon an attire for your team then it is fine. Most importantly, the Open Archers will be going for the National Trials tomorrow, which means Junxiong and QuanJie will be in-charge until we come back. Behave yourselves and coorperate with them. If I hear anything not worth hearing, Ill let Weisiong handle it. Let's us do our awesomest best tomorrow people and get all the trophies!! It is good to have confidence, but do not let over-confidence be our downfall. Regards, Your President :)
To All Competing Archers, Please be reminded to wear the latest competition jersey and black/dark-coloured shorts tomorrow and one Sunday. For those having TKOs, you may coordinate with your teammates on your attire be it shorts or track pants. Have a good shoot guys and give your best!! Regards, Your President :)
To all Committee Members, There will be an urgent meeting this Friday, 28th Jan 11. It will be short, but important nonetheless. Regards, Your President :)
To all Archers shooting for SP-Open this Saturday, there has been a slight change in the event schedule. Registration for all categories will start at 8A.M on both days so please around 7:30A.M. Recurve Open and Novice category will start on the first day, 29th Saturday. But only ranking rounds for Novice category. Novice IKO and TKO will start on the 30th, Sunday. **Lunch (catered food) only will be provided to all Recurve Open archers on the first day (29 th January 2011) and to all Standard Archers on the second day (30th January 2011). Food is not provided to Novice category on both days . Even though novice event start at the same time as the open category, there is still no food provided. So novice archers, please either eat something before you all come or bring your own food, I'm afraid that the canteens might not be open on Sunday. Keith.
Hi Archers, As promised, I will be posting about the timings for the individual categories. The confirmed detailings etc will be out on Wednesday, so stay tuned! The Standard Category will be held on Sunday morning and Novice after that (afternoon?). Eliminations for both Standard and Novice wil commence in the afternoon. Novice competitors will not be receiving their lunch so you will have to buy or get some nice people to buy you lunch. In addition, I have caught the Flu bug that has been terrorising Singapore. I am doing my best to get better. I suggest that all of you drink up and do not eat any funny stuff this week especially the competing archers. Regards, Your President :)

Hi Archers, Firstly, I would like to thank all of you for helping out during the Open House. For those who took the pains to bring down the equipment up and down for the three days, I really appreciate your efforts guys. Everyone had fun and it was success on our part :) Now, we have a few important matters to settle. 1) Committee members who did not attend the AGM, I require a formal photo of you (see the examples in Facebook under AGM) by 12 January. The photos are for SDAR to recognise our new committee. 2) There will be a talk on 13th January, Thursday by one of the world's legendary athletes/figure-skater Michelle Kwan. From what I read, she has won 43 championships, 5 world championships, 8 consecutive and 9 overall U.SNational Championships and 2 Olympic medals. The event will be held at Ideawerkz Blk 23 . It would certainly be an eye-opener for us. Anyone interested can send me an sms or an email by 11 January, Tuesday. 3) The CAGE is in a horrible mess. Very soon, t
Archers, those who still have medals with you, kindly bring them down tomorrow. As for tomorrow and Saturday's training, Coach has requested this arrangement: Since our O.H starts at 11am, all archers not helping are highly recommended to go down and shoot. If you have classes or any other relevant school work, it is fine. The same arrangement shall be applied for this coming Saturday. SP Open will be on the 29th and 30th of January, so Coach will be using the trainings until then to determine who shall be placed in the respective categories. BTW, Coach will be going to Korea on May, so she will be able to train us for NTU open too. Train hard archers. Let us begin our year with an awesome competition well done :) Regards, President
Archers, just to add on to Keith's post, I want these Archers to bring down your bows down if possible. Aven Keith Me Zhuoning ( if u have full stabs) Weisiong If you guys have scouted around the booth, you will realise that our space is a little cramped, though its fairly larger than the other clubs. So for the bows, we will see about the arrangement tomorrow. Anyone else who wants to bring down your bow, be prepared to keep it on 'idle' as we may not have space to put them out. and MOST IMPORTANTLY, be at your best behavior. YOU are representing our club, so show those people our standards :) -Zulhilmi
To all archers helping out in the Open House tomorrow, the attire is jeans and the new club jersey , the white one. *And please remember to bring along some of your trophies and medals. Just the golds and silvers will do. Thanks. Keith

Okay guys, here is the updated roster. Do remember to bring down your medals ya? From NP ARCHERY CLUB Dont worry about the timeslots. Your requests have been made known to me. If your name is inside, then it means youll be helping out. As for CCA points, I will not be the one giving them, but the Open House in-charge. So, I have no idea how the points will be given. Once again, if you are free, just come down and help. Though we have people to watch over the booth, it is more important for us to have a 'crowd' at our booth. Regards, Zulhilmi Ariff
Archers, Please note that training starts tmr at 5pm. Same time, same place. See you. Wei Siong
