Dear Freshies,

[UPDATED]
I would first like to welcome you all to Ngee Ann Polytechnic. As stated in the earlier posts, in order to become a certified archer, it is compulsory to attend the basic archery course(BAC). Details are as follow:

Date: 30th April & 1st May (Saturday & Sunday)
Time: 9am - 3pm (Estimated time)
Location: LT 78
Dress Code: Sportswear and covered shoes (preferably sports shoes) *No Jeans or Bermudas
Things to Bring: Pen, Waterbottle
Fee: $40 (Payment to be made on the day itself, 30th April 2011)

Please note that you will be taught by one of the most recognised coach in Singapore who is the national coach of Singapore's archery team before she joined Ngee Ann Archery Club. Basically, you will be learning the fundamentals of archery theoretically and practically under a great coach at a price that is much lower than learning it elsewhere.(From what we understand, BAC usually cost from $60 onwards elsewhere)

*IMPORTANT

There will be a test that covers both the theory and practical aspect of the course on the 2nd day of the course. If you fail, there will be a free-of-charge re-test which will be conducted when training starts in week 3 after BAC.

To register, either email your full name, student number and handphone number to cca_archery@connect.np.edu.sg OR you can register on the day of the course itself.

For anyone who cannot make it for BAC but wants to join archery, do inform us by sending us an email to cca_archery@connect.np.edu.sg or message me at 9099 5029. You must include your full name, student number and handphone number in the email or message. We will arrange a makeup session for you during one of the training days after the actual BAC.

If there are any questions, feel free to message me at 9099 5029. Please indicate your full name and student number before the question so that I would know who I am communicating with.

Lastly, anyone who is interested to join the club is welcome so if you are a year 2 or year 3 who wants to join, it is still possible. If anyone has friends who want to join, they are welcome too but please tell them to check the blog for updates and COME FOR BAC.

One more thing, training freshies will start after you have completed BAC.

Thank you.

Regards,
Keith Teo
Vice-President

P.S To anyone who leaves a comment on the discussion board on the right side of the blog, your questions will be answered but I don't guarantee that we will see it all the time although we do check the blog everyday for enquiries
